Tarot has always been a topic of much speculation and even horror, from people who have never had the courage to know it, research it through their own experience, people who are zombies or those who have started their spiritual journey but still can’t let go off their conditioning.
Why I know this is because I’ve been there to, done that. Ego is such a big part of our system and not only from this lifetime but from different incarnations that we’re completely and utterly oblivious to it.
I will give you an example here, which relates to our ego in spiritual world and context so well. So I follow a yoga influencer and she posted something and I commented on it. I don’t really remember the post, but I remember that I had written about how healing help us change our inner-conditioning to become our best self, and this person chose to answer me as “We’re perfect, we don’t need to change”. This statement shows us the truth of spiritual ego and how rampant it has become. It’s the same kind of fanaticism as the terrorists, bring other people down because we’re perfect and can’t make mistakes. So who do you think the bad guys are?? Obviously, the other people who make us do things 😃 😃 😃
I am sure as a seeker you have come across so many people who are apt at this kind of gaslighting, so much so that they will want you to question yourself even if your intent is right. And so goes for the Tarot there are too many people who love tarot but have never gone beyond their comfort zone with it and then there are those who have never ever seen a tarot card in person, and still have so much to say about it.
So we’re covering both the tracks here with the myths and legends.

Tarot is a fortune-telling device – Tarot is a divination tool/system and one of its key attributes is prediction or analysis. Can tarot tell you your future? Yes, even if we know that we’re making our future.
Tarot can reveal your dominant traits, all those conditioning that you haven’t been able to heal and so there is always a 60-80% probability of somethings done in a certain way by you or certain choices which are more attractive to you, so yes an experienced Tarot reader can detect all that and tell you your next action with perfection.
But the 40-20% is the playground of the Spirit, where if they want something, your choice will be different even if it’s quite sudden.
This too a tarot reader can predict, but having said that I want to ask, if you have you ever contemplated why tarot has this power with its imagery and the energy?
Yes, you will guess that right, it’s a divination tool. And many of us don’t really know what that means. “Divination” is a form of technique, practice, tool, device that connects us deeply to our unconscious psyche which has both the subconscious and superconscious imbedded. Tarot being a divination tool has the power to draw you deep into that unknown space-frequency where you not only find information because the Akashic records are within your reach, but also you find those pieces of your Soul that seem to have been lost with inhabiting this plane of existence and with the kind of conditioning we’ve received.
Which is why tarot is a powerful tool to meditate on, to go on a healing-journey with and to drive manifestation by releasing challenges through it. If you’ve been following the left-hand path, then you sure know how powerful tarot is.

Tarot is connected to the Satan/Devil – Have you ever read any books from the author Jack Ketchum, if not I recommend his book “The Girl Next Door”. Read that and you will know that the devil is you and me whenever we chose to hurt anyone for our selfish gain, when we forget that then our karma will be responsible for our torture or happiness and wind down the path of cruelty, vindictiveness, hatred, lunacy we become Satan/devil.
So the devil or the Satan is truly you and no one else. The energy of this universe is neutral, how we use it depicts our reality, build our life. For example take the dark Goddess Kali. Many people associate “darkness” with the color of her body which are painted in black. The body color of Goddess Kali shows the void/the womb through which the entire cosmos is birthed. Her Astral level Avatar is very popular among witches who do good and those who do black-magic. So is this energy of the Goddess bad or evil?? Obviously not, its us who are the God-power as well as Satanic-evil.
So stop before you spew superstition and negative talk towards tarot or energy, look within, and remember you will find absolution only through your karma!!!! So a big NO to tarot being satanic or evil, its you and me, period.

My Tarot isn’t affected if someone else touches it – This is a myth which is circulating around with readers who don’t know that tarot is all about energy. You may ask what’s not, right? So to be cool reader, it’s okay to let your querent touch your cards, but remember the reading then starts leaning on their judgments and beliefs.
For many readers they ask the querent to chose during the first half of the reading to determine their psyche. But the since the reading isn’t only about knowing their psyche which we can do without them touching the cards, its also about a neutral perspective form the Spirit of say Tarot itself.

Death Card predicts death – I have watched some readers on Tarot-tube over the years and I have seen many describe this. Card as such, and so truly people are afraid of this card. Death card doesn’t have the power to predict literal death. hich is circulating around with readers who don’t know that tarot is all about energy. You may ask what’s not, right? So to be cool reader, it’s okay to let your querent touch your cards, but remember the reading then starts leaning on their judgments and beliefs.
Its position in the Tree of Life and its astro-connections doesn’t allow that. It’s a card of change and transformation, rebirth and finding the courage to bring the challenges of your life to their knee.
Having said that if this card in a personal read is conveying to the reader psychically about some-ones death then it can be true, and the same goes for other cards too. I was working with the 7 of Swords from the Thoth Tarot which is about death and within that week there was a death of a distant relative in my family. As I. believe in signs and synchronicities and not coincidences, I knew it was kind of emphasizing that this card can at times predict death, but again it has to tell you so.
I am not sharing this to make you afraid or something of tarot, but to tell you the cards have power and if we’re handling them right they can become the best friend you ever wished for.

Tarot is a cult of lost or broken people – Many people believe that it’s the “lost” ones who are attracted to tarot, the truth is that only people who have the courage to find themselves, who seek their true worth, who are attracted to the Soul that they are, are attracted to Tarot.
I am not overlooking those tarot readers who joined the bandwagon because tarot is the “IT” thing or that it is a source of income. There are tarot readers who like to dupe people, its like the same with other professions. Some are good and some are not. But cult is kind of taking it to extreme, and nobody has done that.
Broken people ain’t bad people so I am not sure I need to even clarify that.
So this is my take on the months and legends mostly based on my own experience and that of my clients and some clarified in different spiritual concepts. What do you think?
