My work is very profound and because of it I have met some much beautiful souls but I have seen that they don’t even have the idea of how very special they are!!!!!!
One of my friend recently suggested me to give some tips on “how to love oneself” and as soon as I start writing it, my focus is diverted to the beauty and magic that we have in us, but seldom do we allow us to venture there which manifests in our life as failure, heartbreak, blockages, and thus showing us the missing component of our failed manifestation.
When we feel unworthy, unloved, inadequate, we are sending signals to universe that we don’t deserve our dreams!!!!
Loving one-self is not only being happy, it’s manifesting everything that we have ever desired for.
First we will see how we can make a routine that will help us love ourselves without any judgments.
STEP 1
Stop Judging Yourself
Many of us throw around this thought that “oh, I love myself”, but as soon as they see anybody they might think they admire, the criticism and judging oneself on others standards is not far behind.
When we see somebody happy with themselves, we immediately think, “why haven’t I got that”, without even knowing what “that” is!!!!
As soon as you wish you were somebody else, you are denying yourself “YOU”!!! Remember nobody on this earth can take your place because you are unique in so many sense, so why judge yourself on others standards, be it the standard of happiness, success, money, assets, dreams, health & beauty.
If you feel compelled to judge, stop right there and affirm to yourself “I am unique & special”.
STEP 2
Move Away from Drama
If somebody is coming to you strongly in anger, frustration, and jealousy or just want to hurt you, move out of the situation without responding. When you believe on the things people gossip about you, in front of you and at the back, you are doing yourself a disfavor by believing them.
One of my clients asked me, “But I was being insulted, so I reacted”. My answer to it was, “You have to believe in the insults to be insulted”.
It means simply that you don’t want yourself to feel unhappiness, hurt and negativity, so you chose to move out of the situation.
Remember it’s not important who is right or wrong because if others have made up their mind and have judged you, it is only about them and has nothing to do about you. Every mind is its own mirror.
STEP 3
Forgive Yourself
We are born humans and have flaws, we have emotions and we think too. So, it’s ok to feel bad sometimes, it’s ok to be angry, it’s ok if even after meditating you are not feeling good, it’s ok!!!!! Just remember that you are a human and you don’t make the conscious choice of being hurt, sad, depressed, frustrated, angered, but again it’s you who have the power over them.
See all these emotions as your ally, because if they are not there why will you strive to be more courageous, why will you focus on your inner strength and magic.
So, forgive yourself for all this & more, and remember you have being human and the next choice of feeling in control is yours. So, forgive yourself daily, move out of this guilty conscience now and you will see how beautiful you feel.
STEP 4
Remember Your Beauty
Everyday remind yourself how beautiful, how wonderful and how magical you are. I suggest everybody to have a “Love-cognition Journal” or “Self Love Journal” with them to which you go back every day and write what goodness you have from the day you remember yourself as a toddler to now.
Write all the good karma you have done, write all the times you have made others feel good and have brought laughter & cheer to others heart, how many times you have ignore that rude remark or that insult so as to not put the negativity within you.
I can see the specialty, why can’t you?
STEP 5
Build Your Self Esteem
Know that without you standing by yourself nobody else will. Do you remember the adage, “God help them who help themselves?” Now this is not to be trifled about as it is the truth!!!
If you don’t respect yourself, don’t respect your space in this universe, don’t respect the work that you do, you will soon find that others also feel the same. The universe has given you your own space which simply means you are important for Universe, so why not for you?
Ask this question and write down in your journal why you feel inadequate? When you write them down read them again and ask yourself how do I feel now as I feel I am not good? The answer will be “Not Good”. So, what do you have to do to feel good? “FEEL GOOD ABOUT YOURSELF NO MATTER WHAT”. And when you start doing that you will see a sea change in others too.
STEP 6
Celebrate Your Magic
The first thing to do is to be honest with yourself. If you like something and if you want to do something, do it, buy it; bring it in your life. May be its as small as having an ice cream or enrolling yourself into a course of self discovery, but whatever it is don’t let others push you to not celebrate yourself!!!!
Celebrating your magic is not about being selfish but being happy and when you are happy you will spread more happiness around.
Move forward to keep your mental, emotional and physical health strong & healthy. Join yoga, meditate, join a dance course, join a healing course, but celebrate what you are, an universal light of immense beauty & power.
STEP 7
Be a Channel
As you move forward and start knowing yourself anew with all the above steps, start helping others too, to see their own light and bask in it’s glory. Whatever you find good for others help them move into it. Tell others your way of loving yourself and what have you found, let others go on their own journey and you just be their guide.
Help & support others without judging!!!!
I also wanted to share with you this beautiful piece of experience that I had with one of my clients. I have connected to this wonderful girl who has such strong energy and I can see the beauty of her but she can’t see the magic she has. And that has been the reason that her manifestations have not turned into her physical reality.
When we ourselves put us down, make us more unworthy by the minute, by judging us, by feeling guilty, by unforgiving ourselves, by letting others pull us into their drama, by gossiping about others and letting negativity seep in us, manifestations become far dreams because you attract what you are, and you have made yourself inadequate!!!!
As you learn to love yourself, you will see that the manifestations have become easier and the techniques you have been using is bearing fruit.
Let’s all make a pledge today to our self to be our own hero as we guide us towards divine life we have craved for.
